It's good to be back in London. And right back into the Notting Hill Carnival - nothing beats the energy you get from dancing amongst two million people in the streets of your own neighbourhood on a warm sunny day, while Ratty from the Topcats on the Gaz's Rockin Blues stage tells you to put your hands in the air, band in full flare, playing the saxophones and the trumpets and the drums - brilliant.
Talking of music, I paid a visit to DJ duo Ben Bridgewater and Dan Lywood's Westbourne Grove studio this week to make use of their innovative and brilliant idea for a service - Playlister. Check it out on www.playlister.fm. The pair, two of West London's most reputable DJs, can provide you and your iPod with music to suit your taste, for a surprisingly reasonable fee. Whether you are hosting a party, going on a road trip, or reading the newspapers on a Sunday afternoon, they have the music for you, and don't take long at all to transfer it onto your iPod. It has changed my musical life! I strongly recommend giving it a go. Contact them to book an appointment by emailing email@example.com. Either you meet with them in person or they can send you iMixes via e-mail.
